A guest house built on compassion, dignity, and hope

Child Welfare Guest House is more than a place to stay. It is a purpose-driven hospitality initiative established to support the life-changing work of the Child Welfare and Adoption Society (CWAS), a charitable organisation under the Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala.

CWAS oversees several activity centres dedicated to the care and development of vulnerable children. These include the CWAS Head Office, Nsambya Babies Home, Kankobe Children’s Home, and Nateete Family Group. Together, these centres provide protection, care, guidance, and opportunity for children at different stages of growth.

Nsambya Babies Home receives children from as early as one day old, especially babies abandoned in hospitals or other difficult circumstances, and cares for them up to 5 years. Those who are not adopted by then are transferred to Kankobe Children’s Home, where they continue receiving care from 6 to 14 years. Nateete Family Group supports older children from 15 to 18 years as they prepare for responsible and independent living.

To help sustain these homes, CWAS established income-generating activities, including Child Welfare Guest House. All income generated helps support the homes run by the Child Welfare and Adoption Society - Kampala Archdiocese (CWAS) under the management of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix, Ggogonya and Good Samaritan Sisters, Nalukolongo. By staying with us, guests become part of a mission that transforms lives.
